Margaret Becker is an award winning communicator who has spent the past 25 years connecting with people through words and music. A native New Yorker, Margaret moved to Nashville in 1986 to pursue music and was signed as a songwriter/recording artist by EMI/Sparrow records. Her awards include 4 Grammy nominations, 4 Dove Awards, and 23 number-one radio singles. With 2.8 million records sold, decades of touring have placed her in front of over 3 million people across the world. In 2003, Margaret began producing other artists. Her credits include Ginny Owens, Rita Springer, and Jennifer Knapp. Although initially known for her music, Margaret has authored three books, and won the EPA Standing Column award for her work as a guest columnist. Margaret continues to write, record and produce records along with running her publishing company, Modernm Music in Nashville.
